Bike rental conditions

Rental duration:
We rent our bikes from 9 am to 19 pm, on saturdays until 1 pm and sundays we are closed.

You are responsible for theft or damage sustained to the bicycle. In case of stolen bike the client must pay the price of the bike. The issues that arise for the full performance of this contract shall always be the subject to jurisdiction of the courts of Ibiza. You will have to leave a 100€/bike deposit.
You will get this amount reimbursed if we recuperate our goods in the same state as the delivery/pick up. Please do not leave the bicycles on the street at night. The bicycles should not be left outside unlocked. If you happen to have mechanical problems with the bicycle (only regarding the replacement of parts), please inform us. Do not try to solve the issue yourself. There is no refund of rental price for early return of the bike.

Payment & reservation
To book​ a bike with Bike Ibiza it is essential to pay 100% of the rental in advance. In case of not receiving the payment, the availability of the bicycles is NOT guaranteed.
When hiring a bike with us, you will have to leave a 100€/bike deposit.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

To cancel a reservation:

More than 72 hours in advance:
– The full amount paid in advance will be reimbursed to you.

!! It is necessary to inform us at least 72h in advance by sending an e-mail to eric@bikeibiza.be

Less than 72 hours in advance:

– There will be no partial or total refund of the amount paid in advance, regardless of the reason for the cancellation.

If you cancel the reservation due to bad weather, there will be no refund.

Number of booked bikes
If a reservation has been made for x amount of people and on the day of the booking, there are less
Bikes needed, you will have to pay for the initial amount of people that you
reserved for. The bikes have been reserved for you already and these have to be paid.

Damage and theft
As renter of the bicycle, you are solely responsible for all damage to the bicycle and for all extras that
you have requested with your rental (GPS, ..). Bike Ibiza offers NO cover in the event of theft of
the rented bike. The responsibility for theft rests solely with the CUSTOMER who has signed
the bicycle rental agreement. In the event of theft, the value of the bicycle must be paid at the
current market price.

Extra cost:

We always deliver the bike in perfect condition. If you notice a defect and we come to address it, but there is no issue found, a transportation fee of 50 EUR will be charged.

With bike rental, you’ll receive a repair kit and a tire pump. If someone needs to come for a tire repair, a transportation fee of 50 EUR will apply.

Requirements
When booking, the participant indicates to have read and accepted the aforementioned condition.
