Bike Rentals

ID Requirement

Do I need to show ID to rent a bike?
Yes, a valid ID must be presented for all rentals.

How to Book

How do I make a reservation?
Book via bike-ibiza.com (minimum 3 days). Choose your bike, pedals and dates, then submit your request. We’ll confirm availability and send a payment link (usually within 1 hour, always within 24 hours). After payment, you’ll receive a numbered confirmation email for pick-up in Sant Jordi de ses Salines (airport area) In rare cases, your exact size may no longer be available—then we’ll email you with alternatives.

Can I reserve by phone?
Bookings are website-only. For questions: WhatsApp calls only 📱 +34 627 140 824.

Helmet Use

Is wearing a bike helmet mandatory in Spain?
In Spain, wearing a bike helmet is mandatory on roads outside urban areas. We offer helmet rental for €2 per helmet, per day.

Same-Day Delivery

Can I book online for same-day delivery?
No—delivery must be requested at least 1 day in advance. Delivery + pick-up costs €80.

Delivery to Your Accommodation

Can you deliver the bikes to where I’m staying?
Yes—available from 3 day rentals across Ibiza (subject to availability). Delivery window 09:00–11:00 (may be later due to traffic and multiple drop-offs). No delivery to Ibiza Airport or Ibiza Port. Someone must be present to pay a €200 deposit per bike by credit card. Delivery + pickup: €80

Pick-up Location

Where is the pick-up location?
Pick-up is in Sant Jordi de ses Salines (airport area) The exact address is sent by email after your booking is confirmed.

Bike Sizing

What does “bike size” mean?
We match the correct size using the rider’s height.
You can add your exact height in the comment box.

What’s Included

What’s included in the rental?
A repair kit and a pump are included. A lock is available free on request. A helmet costs €3/day.

Security Deposit

Do I need to leave a deposit when collecting the bike?
Yes—minimum €100/bike for in-store pick-up. It covers accidental damage; extra repair costs are charged separately. Theft isn’t covered. (Delivery bookings require also €100 per bike, paid at delivery.)

Damage & Breakdown

What should I do in case of damage or a breakdown?
Please contact us via WhatsApp. We’ll assist as quickly as possible, depending on distance and availability.

Restrictions of Use

What is not allowed with the bike?
No sand, no salt water. Bikes must stay on Ibiza (no Formentera).

E-Bike Battery Range & Charging

How far can I ride on an e-bike and how does charging work?
Approx. 70 km in Eco/basic mode and around 50 km with higher assistance (varies by rider and terrain). No spare batteries, and the battery cannot be removed. Start fully charged—full charge takes about 5 hours. Charging during breaks usually only helps if you can charge for at least 2 hours.

Can you recommend routes?

Overnight Bike Storage

If I rent for multiple days, where can I store the bike at night?
Use hotel storage where available, or store it at our Bike Center. Never leave bikes outside overnight.

Early return bike.

What if I return the bike early?

Your booking is reserved for the duration of the rental period you paid for. Returning the bike early does not qualify for a partial refund.

Cancellations

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel 72+ hours before pick-up for a full refund. Within 72 hours, the prepayment is non-refundable. Email: eric@bikeibiza.be. No refund for unused days after early return.

Guided Tours

How do I book a tour?

Book online via our easy reservation system. To secure your bikes and guide, we require full payment in advance. Once received, your tour is confirmed.

Are your tours private or shared?

All our tours are private group experiences (just you and your group).

Do you also offer open group rides?

Yes — we host an open gravel group ride in collaboration with Tomorrowland (limited spots).

How long are the tours?

Choose between 2- 3, 4, or 5 hours, depending on the tour and your preferred pace.

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes — you can cancel up to 72 hours before the tour by email. We reserve the bikes and guide especially for your group, so cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable.

What’s included in the price?

Bike, helmet, a bottle of water, and personal guiding (private guide for your group).

Do I need cycling experience?

Yes — you should be able to ride a bike confidently and safely. This isn’t a learn-to-ride lesson.

Where do we meet?

You’ll receive an email with the exact meeting point and all practical details 24 hours before the tour.

What if it rains?

We ride even with rain. Only in extreme/unsafe weather, we’ll reschedule to the next day. Ibiza has sunshine almost every day 😊
